Author’s Note: I wrote this after I was diagnosed with diabetes, cataracts in both eyes, and a hearing loss in both ears (all at the same time). I am a divorced mother, who has raised five daughters alone.
Debbie Lyn Jones: I am a creative. It is part of everything I do and everything that I am. My name is Debbie Lyn Jones, with Lyn being my middle name. I work as an Information Technology Manager I, but am also a creative. I find enjoyment in illustrating and writing and sharing my work. My writing has evolved and changed over time and I try to write from the perspective of those who battle through life.
