Glenna Cook is native to the Pacific Northwest, now residing in Tacoma, Washington. At age fifty-eight, she graduated from the University of Puget Sound, where she began writing poetry. She has been published in a variety of journals. In 2014, she was granted a residency at Hedgebrook, a retreat for women writers on Whidbey Island. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who likes to hike, bicycle, and play the violin.
